Mickey
Mickey is a older female black-capped capuchin rescued by the Monkey Sanctuary. When Mickey first arrived she was undernourished and tiny, but after years of care she is a blooming older lady with a love of juicy red apples and avacado!
Mr Monkey
Mr Monkey is a hybrid-breed capuchin monkey rescued by the Monkey Sanctuary when his owners emigrated to Portugal. Mr Monkey is highly intelligent and has a love of games; shoes are his favourite toys as he loves intricate laces and velcro!
Oliver
Oliver, a woolly monkey, was born in January 2004 at The Monkey Sanctuary, despite his mother having a contraceptive implant. 'Ollie' is a bouncy little boy who loves trying to 'wind-up' Maya, the woolly female by pulling her tail!
Pablo
Pablo is a handsome and healthy male woolly monkey. Pablo is part of a powerful family group and has two young nephews called Ollie and Caju. He is often found dangling from branches in the highest tree-tops
Peppy
Peppy is a weeper capuchin who had been living as a family pet before he was rescued by the Monkey Sanctuary. Peppy is highly intelligent and is brilliant at making up games for his troop and for new rescues in the capuchin rescue centre!
Sissy Jo
Sissy-Jo is a female patas monkey. She was rescued by the Monkey Sanctuary in 2008 and is enjoying a quiet retirement at the Sanctuary as she is an old lady now!
Tanya is an older female black-capped capuchin. She is a diabetic who requires specialist care from the Keepers at the Sanctuary. Tanya is second-in-command in her troop and relishes the comany of other monkeys of her own species.
