Charlie-Brown
Charlie Brown is a black-capped capuchin. He was rescued from another Sanctuary that was closing down and could no longer support him. Charlie had lived most of his life with another capuchin called Missy; the Sanctuary also rescued Missy at the same time as Charlie, but Missy was in a terrible physical state and seemed to be suffering from dementia. Missy was originally reascued from a zoo closure. Missy died soon after arriving at the Sanctuary. Charlie however, once treated for a severe worm infestation, integrated into the large black-cap social group at the Sanctuary, led by Frosty, another black-capped capuchin.

Charlie enjoys some coconut!
Charlie is friendly and outgoing, but is often picked on by more dominant members of his troop as he is a young male. He has great games with some members of the troop however, and he and Boo-Boo, a female capuchin can often be found playing boisterously in the mornings at the Sanctuary!
